This is a pair of two white, woolly sheep skins for you to tan. They are salted to stay preserved with a guarantee of a 6-month shelf life from the time they are shipped to you. Wool length will be between 2-4” and will vary.
This pack is also washed in an industrial washing machine with our secret sauce of detergent and degreaser.
To order: please order one box (containing two sheep skins) at a time. To place an order for a second box, check-out a second time.
What you get in this hide pack:
thoroughly wet-scraped to remove meat + fat
washed in a washing machine with our special degreaser soap
lightly fan dried + salted for 5 days
2 sheep skins ready to tan; will keep unrefrigerated for up to six months
The sheep skins will arrive in an 18” x 12” x 12” box and will be between 15-30 lbs. If your shipping costs are lower than we charge, we’ll refund you the difference.
These sheep skins are from animals raised humanely and with care on Vancouver Island, BC family farms. We divert the byproducts of farming - the hides - from waste and send them to tanners across the world.
